Hardback or Paperback

I mostly read hardcover or paperback books, but listen to a number of audio books as well. In recently weeks I've also gotten a few e-books but they are difficult to read since I don't own an e-reader and have to read from my computer.

An interesting survey.

Thoughts in Progress

Hardcover and paperback for me.

I've been experimenting with reading a book on the computer with Kindle software . . . and I don't like it, lol. So reading a book on the computer isn't for me.

Hi Susanne,

I read hardcover or paperback only. Just love the feel of the actual book in my hand. :o)

I prefer hardcover and paperback. I am thinking of getting a Kindle though, primarily for pdfs and e-books that aren't available otherwise.

**I don't know what happened. I got Sheri's comment in an email, but it didn't post here when I approved the message. I went ahead and transfered her answer from the email. THANK YOU Sheri for your comment!**

Sheri Fredricks has left a new comment on your post "A Survey About Reading Books":

Hardcover or paperback. I've tried reading books on my computer, but just didn't feel the same. I'll try an eReader one day, but there's just something about a book!

I recently bought an iPad and have a couple of books on it. They're kind of neat. I'm enjoying it.

Hi Susanne .. books all the time (at the moment) .. am not in a position to listen to anything else for any length of time .. so books on audio, etc don't feature ..

Kindles, ipads, Readers etc .. not sure & haven't tried .. again - need a journey .. & don't do those!

So please give me a book ..

Have a good rest of the weekend .. Hilary

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by to participate in the survey.

My primary method of reading books is hardcover and paperback.

I do read some books online, in pdf format. I hope to get an electronic device someday, but it is not a top priority right now.

I read a couple at a time. I should just buckle down and read one then move onto the next. And thanks for including Breakthrough in your pic!

I still love paperback and hardcover books and as an Amazon vine reviewer get plenty--I have too many books! However, I do read on my Kindle (great for the plane) and occasionally listen to audiobooks. i have BURY YOUR DEAD on audio right now.

Print books - hardcover or paperback. I don't have an ebook reader, iphone, ipad, or any other device I'd really like to read books on. I do have computer(s) -- but not eager to read on them.

Perhaps a kindle is in my future ..

Paper and hardcover. I'm so old fashioned when it comes to reading! I figure I look at a screen all day, who wants to read for pleasure that way? Some day I might own a Kindle, but for now, it's only paper. I'm curious about your results!

Hardcover and paperback.
And if anyone who reads your blog answers that they don't read books, they need to be flogged! Or is that too harsh?

I'm still mainly a harcover and paperback person, though I love my Kindle and read many books on it.

I'm old fashioned - give me a paperback or hardcover book to read and I'm happy.
