My Final NaNoWriMo Results Are In

I did it! I WON NaNoWriMo!

My final word count was 51,169

CONGRATS to all NaNoWriMo winners!

Didn't win NaNoWriMo?
If you attempted to write 50,000 words in the month of November but fell short of the goal, you are still a winner in my book.

Have a great day!

  2. Thanks, Joylene. I am proud, as is my family. My cat wasn't too happy though, because he didn't want to happy dance with me. LOL

Now I'm working at getting caught up on my blog reading. I've missed visiting all of my friends the past week!

I didn't participate. I'm still planning my next project. Maybe I'll get to start it by January.

  6. A big congratulations to you.

I gave up in about the second week--had too many other things going on. Now I've got kind of a cool idea I can work on later. It's not a total loss.

  10. Congrats Susanne - that's how I felt when I finished Finally Home about 3 years ago even though officially it wasn't during the whole month of November. I didn't get my winner's certificate but I did write for 30 days and completed the novel at about 56,000 words - so doing the happy dance for you.

Do you plan on editing/revising and publishing this story? Just curious as I've not seen anything by you published yet and think you should start on that road if you have completed projects. Let me know if you want someone to read through after you done edits and revisions and all that other good stuff - E :)

  15. Hi Stina, I've heard a few other people mention writing a novel in January. Might be the start something new. Never know.

Hi Jemi! Thanks for happy dancing with me. My cat goes into hiding when he sees me, lol.

Hi Lenny! Glad you liked the champion video. The second video remined me of you, because you are always spreading sunshine and smiles where ever you go.

  17. Hi, Elysabeth. I was excited for finishing NaNoWriMo. It was quite an accomplishment to achieve in 30 days.

CONGRATS to you and the release of your new book, FINALLY HOME. It is on my book wish list.

I've put my NaNoWriMo writing aside for now and will pull it back out mid January to see what is usable. For now I'm spending time getting ready for the holidays, baking cookies for church, working on my goals for 2012, and organizing things around here.

THANK YOU for your offer of reading some of my work when it is ready to be looked over. I will definitely keep that in mind.

    Have a wonderful day!
