Real or Artificial?

I can't believe that Christmas is only five days away!

I've been in cleaning mode the past several days, trying to get my home and life organized as much as possible before January 1, 2012.  I still need to tackle the office so I can get it cleaned out and rearranged so it will be ready for a Christmas present I will be getting at the end of the month.  (Yes, I know one of my presents.)  I'm getting a new desk.  : )

Today's question is this:

Do you have a real tree or an artificial tree?

We have an artificial tree.  The picture above is from last year.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful week.  Merry Christmas to one and all!

Mine is real and a bit sad as I actually went out in the woods and cut it down myself. It looks good in the dark though ;)

We have two artificial trees!

One is from our first Christmas in New Mexico - it now sits in our media room and is visible from the road.

The other one is a fiber-optic tree I picked up a couple years ago for 75% off. Love that tree!!! Pre-lit and gorgeous.

I grew up with an artificial tree - wouldn't know what to do with a real one.

This year we used a fake one, but we vary. Both have their pros and cons. :)

Merry Christmas! Enjoy your desk. :)

Hi Susanne .. great thoughts about tidying everything and sorting - fabulous about the new desk - sounds like 2012 is going to be a good year.

We have real trees .. and if I had one .. that's what I'd have - but a few decorations keeps me happy - I do my mother's musical box tree and decorations.

Happy Christmas and successful 2012 .. cheers Hilary

Hooray for the white trees!! I have a white tree, too. I think they show off the ornaments very nicely.

Merry Christmas!

My husband did consider getting a fake tree this year, but in the end he got a real one.

We don't have the space to store a fake tree. And where we live, the city picks up old Christmas trees to use as mulch in the city parks.

I have an artificial one, but people always ask if it's real. :)

Last year I bought one of those narrow artificial trees at the Bay. I love it. We have room to move now. And I don't have to nag my husband to go get us a tree. The year before last he didn't get it until the 23, then it sat outside while he got in the mood to bring it in, drill for new branches, etc etc. I'd buy a tree, but the city is an hour away, and really, do I want to scratch my SUV? Nah. The tree from the Bay has made life much easier. Plus I had it up and decorated by the 1st. Wow. I love Christmas!

Hope yours is wonderful. Merry Christmas.

We have a rea tree but next year will buy an artificial one. Christmas trees are just too darn expensive these days. Hope you had a great Christmas!
