Read An E-Book Week

Did you know that Read an E-Book Week is March 4 - 10, 2012?

I've set aside the hardcover book I've been reading and will read only e-books this week.  Then I will do future blog posts about them.

Are you looking for a good e-book to read?  Then check out the following sites:

I know I've only listed a few of the sites out there that feature e-books.  If you'd like, share an e-book site link in the comments section so that other people can check them out.

Really? I had no idea and I'm guessing it's a fairly new week ;)

Darn, I want to read... all day long. But I have work to do and a house to paint and a book to write. But I know where to look for good books when I'm finished. Thank you, Susanne.

I love my ereader - and I've now got some students with ereaders. It's definitely a growing demographic! :)

I'm reading an ebook now. My iPad has a bunch on it, but don't know if I'll have time to read them all. They'll be there waiting for me. :)

Johanna, this is the fourth year for Read an Ebook week. I've promoted one other year because before last year (right after REW) I didn't have an ereader and until recently I didn't have any ebooks available.

If ya'll are looking for a YA paranormal mystery, I'm offering a 25% discount on smashwords, coupon code REW25. I'm also running a special if you don't get your copy from smashwords but will email me the receipt of purchase, I'll also send you one of my 2 short stories in ebook format ("The Tulip Kiss" and "The Proposal"). It's on my blog (http://elysabethsstories.blogspot.com - I think I posted early Saturday morning).

I have a ton of TBR on my Kindle and just can't get to them all - lol. Guess I need to buckle down and get back to reading -

Susanne, thanks for promoting read an ebook week - See you all in the postings - E ;)

I don't have an e-reader yet so that's one mark against me. And I'm so busy with A to Z prepping that I haven't had much time to read lately. I May I'm going to have to hit some books.

Oh dear, my Kindle is gathering dust right now. I can't work out how to hold it without it making my hands ache. I will return to it soon but for now I'm reading the 'real' kind of books.

I did not know it was read an E-book week. I do have a couple on my Kindle for PC (but that is why I haven't read them . . . it's just not convenient enough.) Maybe I'll have to make a point to read them. :)

No, I didn't know that--but I hope writers sell a lot of books as a result. :)

I had no idea it was e-book week! I'm a bit late, but I'll skip tonight's book and read an e-book instead. I have plenty to choose from!

I need to take a speed reading class to catch up on ebooks. They're loaded and ready to go, so I'll eventually get back on schedule. Thanks Susanne! Julie

I didn't know there was such a week. I'll have to dust off my Kindle and read something on it!

Oh, I didn't know. And today is the 9th, so I'd better hurry! :)

I'm way late on this. I've been trying to read the final Harry Potter, but little hands seem to grab the pages, the book and the bookmark. I read this week that the ebooks for HP will be available in April.

Me again (if I actually sent the last one). I find some books to check out via http://www.pixelofink.com/ They have a round up of some of the free ebooks available. I check out different genres via Pixel.

Hello to everyone! I'm sorry I haven't stopped by sooner to leave a comment. I hope everyone has had a chance to read at least one e-book to help celebrate Read An E-Book Week. This has been a bit of a hectic week for me, so I've not read as many e-books as I had hoped to. That's okay. The e-books are loaded on my Kindle for PC, so I'll read them as I get the chance. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I didn't know about that! Thanks for sharing! I don't have an e-reader other than on my phone, but I sometimes read there. I'm going to have to make sure I read a lot more on it today, since the week is almost over. :)

I don't use an e-reader. I just love the way books smell and the crisp pages. Maybe someday. (But I doubt it) *waving*

Talli Roland said...

I had no idea! But that's okay, because I read two ebooks last week. Yay!

What do you know, I'm currently reading an ebook. I kind of missed the week, but I was re-reading Mockingjay last week, so hopefully I'm forgiven.
